OPTOLOGIC 2026
Second year B.Sc Optometry students, accompanied by two faculty members, Ms. Sandra and Ms. Nithya, attended the Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme “OPTOLOGIC 2026 – PIXELS OF PRECISION – IMAGING EXCELLENCE IN EYE CARE” on 29th March 2026, organised by Chaithanya Eye Hospital & Research Institute, aiming to provide updated knowledge and clinical insights in the field of optometry.
The CME commenced with an inaugural session, followed by a series of expert lectures and scientific presentations delivered by experienced clinicians and academicians. The sessions focused on imaging technologies in enhancing diagnostic accuracy, clinical decision making and patient outcomes in eye care. The sessions were followed by Intercollegiate quiz competition and cultural programmes. Overall, the CME was highly informative and beneficial for the students. It contributed significantly to their academic enrichment and clinical understanding.
