COLLEGE DAY

The College Day Celebration conducted by Ahalia School of Optometry and Research CentreatKoothambalam on 1st April 2026 was a vibrant and memorable event filled with enthusiasm, talent, and joy.

The program commenced at 10:00 AM with a soulful prayer song, creating a positive and auspicious atmosphere. This was followed by the inaugural address delivered by the Vice Principal, Ms. Preetha Balaji who motivated the students and highlighted the institution’s achievements. The Annual Report presentation by the Union Member highlighted the academic and extracurricular achievements of the college. This was followed by the distribution of medals and certificates to KUHS distinction holders and class toppers.

The cultural segment began with a ramp walk by third-year BSc Optometry students, displaying confidence and creativity. The event continued with a variety of performances including dances and songs by students from different academic years. Each performance reflected the students talent, coordination, and enthusiasm.

The second session included more engaging performances such as group dances, solo songs, couple dances, and special performances by MSc Optometry students. The boys and girls dance performances were particularly energetic and well-received by the audience.

The celebration concluded with a photo session, capturing memorable moments of the day. Overall, the College Day Celebration at Koothambalam was a grand success, bringing together students and faculty in a spirit of unity, celebration, and joy.
