PHARMACOLOGICAL TREATMENTS FOR PRESBYOPIA

A Faculty Development Programme (FDP) was conducted by Ms. Sandra M M, Assistant Professor, at Ahalia School of Optometry and Research Centre, in the seminar hall form 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm on the topic ‘’Pharmacological Treatments for Presbyopia”. The session focused on the emerging pharmacological approaches for the management of presbyopia. The underlying mechanisms of presbyopia and the limitations of conventional management options were also discussed. The programme served as an informative platform for faculty members to enhance their knowledge of recent developments in presbyopia management and to understand the evolving role of pharmacological interventions in clinical practice.
