SSGP PROGRAM ON ANTI-RAGGING AWARENESS

As part of the SSGP programme, an Anti-Ragging Awareness session was conducted for the first-year B.Sc. Optometry students. The session aimed to clearly define ragging and its various forms, helping students understand the seriousness of such activities.

The class also focused on creating awareness about the consequences of ragging, the laws and penalties associated with it, and the mechanisms available for reporting any such incidents. Students were encouraged to uphold the values of respect and responsibility within the campus community.

In addition, the session highlighted the importance of maintaining a supportive and inclusive campus environment, ensuring that every student feels safe and valued.

The session was facilitated by Mrs. Lathika R., Associate Professor, ASORC.
