INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE
The international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking was observed on June 26, 2025, with the theme “Break the cycle”. #StopOrganizedCrime, and “Towards a safer, drug free future”. The aim was to raise awareness about the devastating impact of drug abuse and illegal trafficking, promoting global cooperation to compact these issues.
In association with “International Day Against Drug Abuse” students of 1st year, 2nd year, and 3rd year B.Sc Optometry and Diploma in Ophthalmic Assistance, took an anti-drug pledge. The event was inaugurated by Shri. A Prabhakaran, Honorable MLA, Malampuzha. Awareness programs including tableau, flash mob by our students and Excise department, Palakkkad.
