Vision For Cause Programme

VFC program was conducted in Government upper primary School, Vennakkara in the Palakkad District of Kerala state on 13th and 14th of July 2022 . A total of 10 Optometrists participated in the program along with faculty members and 3rd year students.  A total of 485 children and 17 adults (total of 502) were screened in the two days camp.  The prevalence of refractive errors was found to be 5.36% (26 out of 485), which is too low when compared to global data.  It needs to be further study this population for the upcoming VFC programs.
