World Sight Day 2022

Ahalia school of Optometry and research centre celebrated World Sight day at  Ahalia Eye hospital Auditorium on 13 october 2022. Principal,Dr. Sajeev cheriyan jacob and  HOD,Dr.Venkatarama Kalikkivayi welcomed all the students for the event.

The theme for World Sight Day 2022 is “Love your eyes”​

The purpose of the day is to raise awareness of the value of eye health as well as the widespread problem of preventable blindness and visual impairment. information on maintaining good eye health, learning how to prevent illness rather than treat it, and discovering and treating illness in its earliest stages.

The following are the activities conducted  by the department of optometry: a quiz contest, eye-related games and puzzles, dance performances, and flash mobs.
