Eye care for Elders Camp @ Snehajwala-Old Age Home

Ahalia School of Optometry and research centre Palakkad in association with Zeiss Aloka and Optometry Council of India conducted eye screening camp on 16th of June 2023 at Snehajwala – Old age Home, Padalikadu, malampuzha , Palakkad. With 2 Senior Optometrists and 8 junior optometrists assessed visual acuity, refractive error, intraocular pressure, and retinal structures. Out of 53 people 21 needs spectacles correction. Cataract diagnosed patients are referred for cataract surgery at Ahalia Foundation Eye Hospital, Palakkad. Spectacles will be free and expected to deliver with in 3 weeks.
