Celebration of World Optometry Day- Ahalia Akshiotsav 2024
Ahalia School of Optometry and Research Centre celebrated World Optometry Day Week from March 20th, 2024, to March 23rd 2024. In this regard, students performed flash mob and mime at Indira Gandhi Stadium bus stand (Wednesday) and Fort Maidan (Thursday), Palakkad, during 20th and 21st March 2024, respectively. On March 22nd, 2024, eye screening was conducted by our students at Lulu Mall, and they also performed mime.
About 100 students took part in the programmes, which aimed at creating awareness among the public about the importance of eye donation as well as optometry.
